What is A Blind Rivet?
A blind rivet, commonly referred to as a pop rivet, is a specialized type of fastener designed for joining two or more materials together where access is only available from one side. It consists of a smooth cylindrical shaft with a head on one end and a mandrel protruding through the other. Blind rivets are widely used in situations where the back side of the workpiece is inaccessible, making them an ideal choice for tight or hard-to-reach spaces.

Components of a Blind Rivet:
Rivet Body: Usually made of aluminum, steel, stainless steel, or copper. It's the part that remains in place after installation.
Mandrel: A steel or aluminum rod that goes through the rivet body, used to expand the rivet during installation and then breaks off.

Installation Instructions

Step1: Drilling the materials
Using the right dill bit, drill throught the material to make a hole for the rivet.
Step 2: Placing Rivet
Place the body of the rivet through the drilled hole.
Step 3: Placing Riveter
Puse the nozzle of the rivter onto the mandrel of the rivet.
Step 4: Using Rivet Gun
Sqeeze the handles of the riveter together.
Step 5: Pulling action of the riveter cause the mandrel to break off. Leaving the rivet permanently fixed, holding the pieces of material together.
